Purchasing Officer
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to strengthen and optimize our procurement process. In this role, you will work closely with the Purchase Manager and various internal teams to ensure the quality and availability of our raw materials and products.
Your responsibilities:
Supplier Management & Negotiation: You build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate the best terms to ensure the continuity and quality of our purchases.
Procurement Process & Orders: You place and follow up on purchase orders, monitor delivery times, and ensure an efficient procurement process.
Price Management & Market Analysis: You keep price lists and master data up to date and analyze market trends to support strategic purchasing decisions.
Internal Collaboration: You work closely with Finance, Costing, Planning, IT, Production, and Logistics to optimize the entire supply chain.
Process Optimization: You proactively identify improvements in procurement processes and implement optimizations where possible.
Why are you our new Power Player?
With your Bachelor’s degree in economics, logistics, or a technical field and solid experience (at least 3-5 years) in a procurement role, you know exactly how to elevate supplier relationships and contract negotiations to the next level.
You have strong analytical skills and can translate data into strategic purchasing decisions.
Language proficiency is a must: you are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good command of English.
You are an independent and proactive professional who can switch quickly, set priorities, and solve problems efficiently.
You work with precision and structure, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on results.
