IT Support & System Engineer
The IT Support & System Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining and optimizing Microsoft and cloud-based systems, and ensuring a stable IT infrastructure. This contributes to smooth operational processes for internal users and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Provide first- and second-line support:
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end users
• Supporting Microsoft 365 applications, cloud-based systems, on-premise systems, and network infrastructureSystem management and optimization:
• Monitoring system performance, installing upgrades, and implementing optimizations
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, network equipment, and peripherals
• Ensuring continuous operation of serversIT infrastructure and security:
• Implementing system upgrades, patches, and performance improvements
• Assisting with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and continuity planningDocumentation and knowledge management:
• Documenting system configurations and procedures for efficient troubleshooting
• Helping build and maintain the knowledge base using the Confluence applicationCollaboration & innovation:
• Acting as a key link between external partners and Europal
• Advising on IT processes and optimizations to ensure the IT infrastructure remains secure and up-to-date
• Staying up to date with IT trends and best practices
Why are you our new Power Player?
You hold a BA degree in IT or have equivalent experience
You have strong knowledge of Windows Server management, Active Directory, and Group Policy
You’re familiar with Office 365, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Your troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking are solid
You are not afraid to communicate in French
Customer-oriented service is second nature to you
You are flexible and willing to travel between our sites in Kortrijk, Blandain, and Mouscron
