Warehouse & Technical Preparation Operator
The Warehouse & Technical Preparation Operator is part of the technical team and responsible for the technical warehouse and preparation activities. He/she anticipates the team’s needs, organizes and ensures material availability, and collaborates closely with production and logistics to maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Stock Management & Purchasing:
Manage the technical warehouse: reception, storage, distribution, and inventory of parts and tools.
Monitor stock levels and place timely orders to avoid shortages.
Request and compare quotes, place purchase orders, and track deliveries.
Handle administrative flow: goods receipts, delivery notes, purchase orders, etc.
Manage safety stocks and critical parts in collaboration with technicians and the maintenance manager.
Work Preparation:
Prepare planned maintenance interventions (preventive and corrective).
Draft work instructions, checklists, and technical sheets to facilitate execution.
Organize any pre-assembly or preparatory work in the workshop.
After execution: check used materials, replenish stock, and order replacements if needed.
Analysis, Improvement & Documentation:
Record and monitor material consumption, wear, and defects.
Analyze recurring issues and propose technical or organizational improvements.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement within the maintenance process (5S, TPM, Lean, etc.).
