Packaging Development Engineer
The Packaging Development Engineer creatively leverages Europal’s strengths to develop better packaging solutions that truly make a difference. By standardizing or optimizing designs, methods and processes, you help build a high-performing organization.
Responsibilities:
Development, design and innovation:
• Analytical and creative thinking in response to customer requests
• Drawing up plans
• Creating drawings for the plotter and testing plotted models
• Managing cost estimation of toolings for HPA and ECA
• Supporting production tests if needed
• Designing ECA and HPA projects, assessing their technical and qualitative feasibility
• Providing product information to sales colleagues and answering their technical questionsEfficient production preparation:
• Designing eco printing
• Preparing plans for production
• Contributing to the optimization of procedures
• Exploring opportunities to roll out AI further within the R&D departmentProblem handling and solving:
• Possible customer interaction within R&D
• Respecting ISO procedures

You hold a master’s degree in engineering, preferably in product development, but other specializations are also possible, as well as equivalent experience-based expertise
